framing

Most of my thoughts are probably not original.  I may sometimes sound like an academic, but I’m not.  I like to think, talk about ideas.  I tend not to care where they came from,  though there are some thinkers I admire, ideas I refer to repeatedly.

Appeals to authority annoy me.  I do not want to be authoritative, this is really just how I talk sometimes, this is something I enjoy- straightforward exposition as exploration.  Now this is sounding rather defensive- like I’m afraid you’re thinking “whew, too intellectual”… fuck that, i’ll be colloquial or poetic when i feel like it.

in fact, condensing to a song is much harder, i only get there sometimes
